What is the Court and Economic Monitor (MSiG)?

Monitor Sądowy i Gospodarczy (Court and Economic Monitor) is an official gazette published by the Ministry of Justice since 1996. It is the main source of information on court decisions concerning companies and legal and financial changes taking place in companies.

What data does the MSiG contain?

The publications cover a wide range of announcements concerning, among other things:

  • bankruptcy and restructuring of companies (in proceedings commenced before the launch of the National Debt Register),
  • liquidation and transformation of companies,
  • court proceedings,
  • changes in management or ownership structure,
  • publication of annual financial statements.

Uses of data from the MSiG

Regular use of data published in Monitor Sądowy i Gospodarczy allows companies to:

  • instantly identify important changes in the National Court Register (e.g., changes in ownership structure, management) concerning contractors,
  • monitor the progress of bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings (initiated before the launch of the National Debt Register),
  • detect negative signals regarding the credibility of the counterparty and the risk of cooperation,
  • analyze financial statements of entities not registered in the National Court Register and required to publish them (e.g., large individual entrepreneurs from CEIDG)

Who uses MSiG data most often?

MSiG data is regularly used by various user groups, including:

  • debt collection and debt management companies,
  • banks and financial institutions assessing the credit risk of business customers,
  • law firms and auditing companies that analyze the legal situation of enterprises,
  • entrepreneurs who monitor the economic situation of their contractors on an ongoing basis.

Access to MSiG data: manually or via API?

From July 1, 2012, current and archived (since 1996) issues of Monitor in PDF format are available free of charge on the website of the Ministry of Justice.

The problem with Monitor is that the data it contains is difficult to read and difficult to process further due to its format.

Do you want to use the data contained in MSiG effectively? Check out the Court and Economic Monitor API service .

MSiG API from MGBI – what can you gain?

The biggest advantages of using the MSiG API are:

  • Automatic data update: Information is available almost immediately after publication in MSiG.
  • Data integration: Easy integration of data from MSiG into your company's existing IT systems.
  • Time savings: Eliminates the need to manually review the log.
  • Technical support: Comprehensive documentation and support from MGBI specialists.

This solution enables automatic data retrieval and integration directly with company systems such as CRM or ERP.

Summary – Court and Economic Monitor

MSiG is the primary source of current announcements about entrepreneurs – it allows you to quickly find information about proceedings, transformations, liquidations, and published reports. Using data via API eliminates manual work on PDF files, speeds up searches, and enables constant monitoring in your systems (CRM/ERP), which reduces the risk of oversights and shortens response times.
