What is the Court and Economic Monitor (MSiG)?
Monitor Sądowy i Gospodarczy (Court and Economic Monitor) is an official gazette published by the Ministry of Justice since 1996. It is the main source of information on court decisions concerning companies and legal and financial changes taking place in companies.
What data does the MSiG contain?
The publications cover a wide range of announcements concerning, among other things:
- bankruptcy and restructuring of companies (in proceedings commenced before the launch of the National Debt Register),
- liquidation and transformation of companies,
- court proceedings,
- changes in management or ownership structure,
- publication of annual financial statements.
Uses of data from the MSiG
Regular use of data published in Monitor Sądowy i Gospodarczy allows companies to:
- instantly identify important changes in the National Court Register (e.g., changes in ownership structure, management) concerning contractors,
- monitor the progress of bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings (initiated before the launch of the National Debt Register),
- detect negative signals regarding the credibility of the counterparty and the risk of cooperation,

From July 1, 2012, current and archived (since 1996) issues of Monitor in PDF format are available free of charge on the website of the Ministry of Justice.
